We had a wonderful time screening at Truman State over the weekend.  The Filmmakers’ Club were extremely gracious hosts and made the event a success despite the harsh weather conditions.  Jim and I were introduced to some terrific local filmmakers and enjoyed all of the Q&A sessions that followed.  It’s amazing to see the work of so many talented people and have the opportunity to hear their war stories.  This event likely marked the final screening of “Hooch & Daddy-O” for the forseeeable future, so it was an honor to have it hosted by Jimmy Moore and such an eager, professional group of young film students.  We hope this is the first of many more successful events!

Howdy, gang!

We’re pleased to announce that “Hooch & Daddy-O” has been selected by the Truman State University Filmmakers’ Club for a special screening on Saturday, March 28th at 2pm.  Jim and I will be in attendance and hosting a Q&A session with the students following the movie.  We’re extremely honored to have been chosen, and it’s amazing our first little film still has legs after four years!

We’ll keep you posted!

gascGreetings – you zombie, comedy-loving sons of guns!

We have some exciting news to share about “The Bloodfest Club”. Recently, we entered the script into The Great American Screenplay Competition presented by ACEFEST (sponsored by The Onion). To our surprise, we were selected as a Top 5 finalist for their “Comedy” category and made the Top 30 overall out of the 750 scripts they received. This honor will provide us with some welcomed exposure for the film.
